The parking garage at what will become Florida’s tallest tower is now open, and the rest of the building is going vertical.
Florida East Coast Realty recently obtained a temporary certificate of occupancy for 11 stories of the 19-floor, 2,000-space garage at the 830-foot Panorama Tower in Brickell, according to a press release from developer Florida East Coast Realty.
The developer had been temporarily using the Villa Magna site as parking for the 1101 Brickell office building during construction. The opening of the garage could free up that land, where FECR plans an even taller tower at 1,049-feet.
When completed, the 83-story Panorama Tower will be (at least temporarily) the tallest residential building south of New York. It will include 821 rental units, 208 hotel rooms, 100,000 square feet of medical office space, and 50,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.
