If it didn’t have a Metro-mover stop next to it you’ll be crying about that.

Who owns this parcel? Is all this temporary? Seems like there should be something bigger here.

Is it going to have real bathrooms or nasty porta-potties like the yard?

I would think real toilettes. Matas along with Swire are building this.

Those big expanses of plastic grass with no shade will be so wonderful in the Miami heat.

Too bad they demolished the historic East Coast Fisheries building.

This will be great except that most places will be empty. Everytime I go to La Centrale, I’m the only one there. Imagine if there’s more competition. I know it sounds incongruous but the more parking they build, the less people will come.

Centrale seems kind of bust, but Casa Tua is always full

Try the cacio e pepe at the pizza/pasta place at La Centrale. I couldn’t believe how good it was. Been there 3 times now, still great.

Brickell is dead Monday-Thursday.

Totally dead
Sad looking
The other day I may have walked 20 minutes looking for a decent place to have breakfast. Walked into La Centrale and the choices were minimal and over priced. Sort of weird sitting areas, it felt like it’s designed for takeout and it was dead.

You want a good breakfast try Atelier Monnier on Brickell Ave.

You’re welcome.

I live in Brickell and disagree. Obviously it isn’t as lively as during the weekend, but I’m consistently (pleasantly) surprised by how many people I see walking around during weeknights

It needs a Ferris Wheel, that’ll liven up the place.. lol…

So sad, this is supposed to be city central, next to the bay, lots of 5 star hotels, top notch restaurants and it’s eerily dead. You guys should see the beehive activity at Cityplace in Doral everyday of the week with no transit or any of the pluses mentioned here.

He’s got a point. Why down vote?

Because some of these a-holes think this area can’t be outdone.

CityPlace Doral sucks so bad, Related had to change the original CityPlace’s name in West Palm Beach to distance itself.
