Contractor Applies For Construction Permit To Build 65-Story E11EVEN Residences

The developers of the 65-story E11EVEN Hotel & Residences have applied for a construction permit.

Site work is already underway at the property, after a groundbreaking ceremony held on 11/11. The permit will allow for vertical construction to begin.

The permit application was created on December 6, with the full plans submitted on December 8.

According to the newly filed construction permit, E11EVEN will include:

  • 416 residences
  • 36,852 square feet of commercial
  • 2,049 square feet of office
  • four floors of parking garage

Total hard construction cost is listed at $190 million.

Expedited review has been requested, and a private provider is also being used for review to allow for faster approval.

John Moriarty & Associates is listed as the contractor.

Separately, a demolition permit is nearing approval down the block at the site of a second 65-story tower, E11EVEN Residences Beyond.

These two towers will add so much value to this part of downtown. Coupled with the new park and bridge, with world center to the south, this will be a great neighborhood

fat chance. “neighbors” are already complaining. Once people are moving in (i.e. moving TO the nuisance) right on top of it, the complaints will only intensify. Look at Wynwood.

The concept of 11 residences is much different than the buildings in wynwood.
Think of Vegas hotel residence vs live work play building model…

In Wynwood, the noise complaint is launched at outside clubs. As more new residential structures are built in Wynwood, people will to take the partying inside and the fun won’t stop when they do.

I could be wrong, but I think the construction permit is only for when they go above ground, not below
