Contractor Applies For Dewatering Permit At NoMad Residences In Wynwood

Construction contractors have applied for a dewatering permit at the NoMad Residences site in Wynwood.

The DERM permit applications indicate construction could be starting soon.

Records show contractor Beauchamp Construction has filed plans for two temporary dewatering wells at the NoMad Residences site.

Miami Building Department records show that a construction permit to build NoMad was applied for in September 2022, and is now being processed.

NoMad also signed a utilities agreement in August.

NoMad is planned to include 329 residential units, 5,113 square feet of retail, 21,102 square feet of full service restaurant (with a Casa Tua Cucina), and 193 parking spaces.

Can’t wait for this project to kick start. It will be revolutionary for Wynwood. Love the design.

There is a lot of bait and switching going on in Miami. We saw renderings like this in Brickell, and we are still waiting on them. Love Wynwood but want to see more ethical real estate marketing in Miami.

Which building in Brickell are you talking about?

Very cute little building. We need more construction like that one. 20 floors max.

This is 8 floors of residences, roof top 9th floor. This zoning only allows 8th floors with some exceptions, max of 12 floors

Little? It’s an entire block and looks like a parking garage.

This type of design belongs in Brickell around the Underline, where there is a metroline and hip NYers want to live.

Brickell needs high rises and that’s what it’s zoned for

Have been waiting for this one for a while! Love all the short term rental investment options sprouting up in Miami.

Vibe feels a bit more Wynwood but regardless Midtown is growing into a great neighborhood.

Sorry I’m an idiot for a second I thought this was the Standard Midtown my bad.

Midtown was a redevelopment of a railyard in Wynwood, so is technically Wynwood. Maybe not the arts district, but part of the neighborhood as a whole. Same with the Miami Design District as park of Buena Vista.
