Revealed: 66-Story Aston Martin Residences, Pricing Above $1,000 PSF

Miami is getting a 66-story Aston Martin tower with residences at the mouth of the Miami River.

Argentina’s Coto family revealed the name of the condo project today, which is planned at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way. It is the first of several planned projects that the family plans under the G and G Business Developments name.

Pricing will exceed $1,000 per square foot, with the 390 units starting at around $2 million. Those prices will befit what the Cotos paid for the one-acre property – $125 million, the most expensive acre ever sold in Miami.

Sales will begin in November. A sales center will open in March, with groundbreaking in Summer 2017. Completion is scheduled for 2021.

$1000 PSF?!?!?! Ill wait for that Toyota Residences i guess….

Ilovearchytecture

That will be build by Mr Hollo and designed by Architechtonica

Even that’s Mercedes-Benz or BMW tier. Toyota Residences would be built by Melo Group and designed by Stantec. The only exception is Aria on the Bay, which is Lexus Residences also by Arquitectonica.

I guess you never lived in a Hollo’s building

Miami needs more Kias and hyundais

Miami needs more Metrorail Residences than those named after Korean-dumped cars marketed to people who can’t drive properly. We call it “transit-oriented development.”

All jokes aside, it’s a marketing ploy for a British sports car so niche, it wouldn’t work for any car. There’s a certain exclusivity to Aston Martin and how it evokes James Bond, even more than The Bond at Brickell because it’s licensed. I remember when Lincolns used to have Cartier trims back in the 80s and 90s, but instead of attracting yuppies and old money, it ended up being the preferred car of gangsters and pimps.

Yes, I was making a joke. I second your response 100%. More TOD, fewer vehicles of all makes and models.

Kias and Hyundais can’t afford prime water front view but that is not necessarily bad…our downtown is young and with time you will see a variety of developments. Besides, we already have Melo building to conquer that market

What a name. Cant wait to see their next building the Ferrari Building next to the Porsche building near the Armani building where the Versace building is being planned. Very classy Miami. Btw I will shut up when I see this being done in Nyc

Hey, at least they aren’t being named liked stadiums. Can you imagine Best Buy Tower or Publix Plaza???

Except banks and other corporations put their names on skyscrapers all the time.

AVA

The only difference is that Banks pay to be on buildings and stadiums not the other way around.

I don’t think the name has been decided yet

Actually, the Porsche Tower is already in Miami. You drive in with your Porsche and the Elevator will take you straight into your suite.https://miami.curbed.com/2016/12/15/13969868/porsche-design-tower-miami-sunny-isles

Beautiful but that timeline seems like wishful thinking.

Coto Family will be financing the building themselves so they can start building at anytime. Not so unrealistic since there is no bank loan.

An absolutely gorgeous and iconic building deserving of the location. The best design (built and not built) that I have seen for Miami IMO.

I wish the balconies on the parking pedestal facing the river were all the same length, but still. Along with 1000 Museum and Echo Brickell, this will be one of the current bubble’s best towers.

As a neighbor I’m pretty pumped that this actually looks pretty good. I wonder about the pricing but since this is self-financed maybe they don’t mind waiting. I’m sure los Coto know plenty of people they can personally nudge into buying in their building. Pretty transformative for the skyline too. Hope there’s lots of retail packaged with it too.

This is a level above even “those people” that shop at middle high end retail. I wouldn’t be surprised to see none and a blank wall toward what some epic people think is the “bum walk”. Just under the bridge and around the Hyatt it is very true sadly.

That’s nice. Now, will someone please build a supertall office tower in Miami? That might stand a chance of actually getting built at this point in the cycle, as opposed to yet another condo tower with units priced at $2 million and above.

Hopefully they do something with that blank wall next to the river walk.

What a wonderful project for downtown Miami… and no worries about selling units. I can only imagine the views.

The very wealthy don’t worry about up or down cycles.. these will be cash deals.

Its said that the ground breaking will begin in 2017 but won’t be finished until 2021. What the hell? Almost 4 years to build this? Why?

they are saying construction will start on mid 2017 and finish in 2021…sounds like almost 4 years???? is that possible?

I prefer Epic for half of the price…..there are so many new luxury building coming on , in few months you will get a nice unit for a bargain price from investors that cannot afford to hold the units……

Aston Tower would be a better name. Aston Martin trivializes it.

Remember when the stones went on tour and had that huge inflated phallus as a stage decoration..this aston looks like huge glowing dildo..and for many a fine tax dodger from argentina to inhabit

Ilovearchytecture

All buildings look like phallus! They are erect structures coming from a flat surface
Some building are taller and thicker than others… like phalluses do
I wonder when they develope overtown how tall andcthink the buildings are going to be);-)

This is it everybody. Miami’s most significant single parcel of land will forever be defined and branded as a British sports car. Gross. Tough market for condo sales though so unless they’re filling it with every Middle Eastern prince they can find, outlook is cloudy.
