An application has just been filed with the Federal Aviation Administration to install two cranes at the 444 Brickell Tower II construction site.
Construction has been underway at the site since around January, shortly after developer Related Group obtained a $164 million construction loan for the project.
According to the June 13 FAA filing, two cranes are planned:
- Crane 1, rising 589 feet above ground, or 591 feet above sea level
- Crane 2, rising 551 feet above ground, or 553 feet above sea level
The 75-story, 848-foot Baccarat tower is planned on on adjacent site, along with a third 82-story, 897-foot tower.
