Demolition Begins At Wynwood Quarter Properties, Will Eventually Include Six Sites

Demolition is beginning at the Wynwood Quarter project, according to a Notice of Commencement filed earlier this month.

Also this month, engineer Bliss & Nyitray wrote on social media that they had been selected as engineer of record for the project, working alongside architect Zyscovich.

The project will feature 6 buildings that will include retail, residential, & hotel.

One of the buildings is said to include condos using the Diesel brand. Sales were supposed to launch earlier this year.

Zyscovich loves him those sun bouncing plazas. Instead, why not grass instead of concrete and pavers?

Anonymous

Grass?.. what are you, a cow?

Concrete?…what are you, a Soviet?

Anonymous

Is this honeycomb / hexagonal render a redesign? Don’t see how it correlates with the larger overview…

Also, is that plaza oriented North/South? Or East/West?
