Demolition Soon To Make Way For 57-Story Casa Bella, Sales Center Relocates

The sales gallery for Casa Bella by B&B Italia has relocated to make way for demolition and construction of the 57-story tower.

The old sales gallery is now vacant and will be torn down, according to Olga Monson, Casa Bella’s Director of Sales.

Other businesses in the massive 1400 Biscayne office and retail complex have also relocated to make way for demolition, according to photos by Ryan RC Rea.

A demolition permit is pending.

The demolition permit states that 249,978 square feet of existing building space will be demolished at 1400 Biscayne, according to Miami Building Department records.

The BG Group is listed as the demolition contractor on the demolition permit.

A total of 317 luxury condo units are planned in the new tower.

The giant head needs to go.

It literally is the same as one of the Auberge towers. It will probably be done in phases, like Baccarat Residences, which is a recycled and re-branded tower of One Brickell.

would be truthful if their rendering showed the adjacent Melody Tower. Otherwise the rendering is deceptive

Can’t wait for this! Biscayne Blvd will soon be a lot denser but we need to pave those traffic lights accordingly. Right now the whole Biscayne Blvd isn’t geared toward pedestrians but with every new buildings comes a set of roughly 1,000 new people so it’s time to do something about that.

All of Miami streets I95 to the Bay need to be revamped to be pedestrian friendly, people take a leap of faith whenever they try to cross in a lot of undermarked/lit intersections – should be done in unison throughout so people learn the new system collectively (cars aren’t bound to one street and move around so should be unified)

Biscayne blvd will soon be our own billionaires’ row similar to NYC!

Related doesn’t do billionaire developments, and Biscayne Boulevard won’t ever be 57th Street as long as Vizcayne exists with its CVS, Marshall’s, and residents who make Opera Tower ones looks like Central Park Tower residents. Oh, and Holiday Inn Express right next to Waldorf Astoria residences.

It can be something like Central Park South I think.
