Demolition Underway At 65-Story E11EVEN Residences Beyond

Demolition has commenced at the site where a second 65-story E11EVEN tower is planned in Park West, according to Ryan RC Rea.

Construction on the first 65-story tower, known as E11EVEN Hotel & Residences, got underway in November 2021 with a groundbreaking ceremony that included a performance by CeeLo Green, along with fire dancers.

The second tower will  be known as E11EVEN Residences Beyond.

Building Department records show a demolition permit to clear the second site was issued earlier this month.

The two towers will be connected by a skybridge running behind Club Space. There will also be a helipad atop the second tower.

Both towers were said to have seen strong sales.

Brothers Jake and Logan Paul reportedly purchased two separate penthouse units in the second tower valued at $20.5 million each.

Love this project and I’m most excited for the second tower; however, I don’t see any activity since they broke ground a year ago. Talk about snail’s pace.

They acquired more land and they will enlarge the base to accommodate a bigger health center. They are probably getting through permits?

Why is there no activity? If I purchased at the first eleven tower a year ago I’d be so upset

Great looking buildings. Question though – what is the point of the bridge connection? Sure it’s convenient if you have friends next door but how frequent would that be? Or is it because the two buildings share the pool in tower 1?

Maybe each tower will have different amenities that require guests to go to the tower with the amenity they need.

I believe tower 2 has access to all of the amenities in tower 1. While tower 1 only has access to its own amenities. It’s part of the justification to charge more for units in tower 2.

People on here literally want Metromover with stops on every block because they refuse to walk more than a few blocks, so a bridge seems appropriate for the entitled class.

People want to see the Metromover go places and be used for the purpose it was designed and intended for. Miami is one of the fortunate cities to have such a system and its been in existence for over thirty years. If you can’t understand the simple solution to expand it, then I suggest you move back to the bread basket state where you came from and continue being content and happy with those vast wheat fields that you’re used to walking in and stop telling us who you thinks acts entitled in this city and county .

Hilariously bad take. The people that actually want metromover 100% walk more often than anyone else.

Demolition was completed for a second tower a couple of days ago.
There is currently no activity on the first tower.
Some preliminary work was done a few months ago.

This is such a beautiful tower.

The designs and everything else about this project looks superb.

The designs look like every other tower proposed, f-ing boxes.

Anonymous

Not really. This is the only tower proposed with a glass and concrete material pallet. There’s a bit more to architecture than just form, which is typically rectilinear in highrises.

I’ve seen your complaints about buildings looking like “f-ing boxes” over an over an over again without showing what your idea of designs are that pleases your taste.

Anonymous

That’s not for me to show. The architects are for that, and they are not designing much. I can say that

So you’re saying you skip the heavy lifting that these developers and architects have to go through and do the most simple thing like constantly whine about buildings looking like a “box” to you?

Anonymous

I agree with you!!! Boring boxes, all over this town.

I hope construction of this tower picks up speed it broke ground almost a year ago and it still does n’t start vertical construction

More boxes? No thanks. How about more Paramount and Legacy-tier towers to keep with MWC’s envisioned concept?

A nice understated design. The type most folks on here would say isn’t impressive as it is not sufficiently ‘gaudy’ with curves and swirls…lol

The north and northeast facing views from this tower are going to be great. South will be heavily obstructed by legacy and west by the other E11even tower

I’m most curious about what stakeholders think is going to happen once these things go up. What’s going to happen to Space, E11even, and the Corner? I imagine whoever moves into these buildings are going to complain these places out of existence.

Would be cool if TNM reached out to the proprietors for their take.

How can they have a bridge connection? What if sometime in the future the SPACE land wants to be develop into a building as ELEVEN did?

Pinga

The owners of the property beneath space were obviously compensated for the rights to build the bridge above. They made a business decision to limit their development capabilities in exchange for that payment. This is a good thing, means Space will likely stay for a long time.
