Design District Building Approved By FAA At 330 Feet

The Federal Aviation Administration has issued a letter stating that a building planned on Biscayne Boulevard does not represent a hazard to air navigation.

A description attached to the FAA filing states the proposed building development project is to be located at 3801-3833 Biscayne Boulevard in Miami.

The approved height is 320 feet above ground, or 330 feet above sea level.

The letter was sent on August 15 to Biscayne Residences Holdings LLC.

The company acquired the property earlier this year. It is reportedly an affiliate of Kolter Group.

Perfect height for this location. Looking forward to seeing more development in this area just beyond the Core.

That just to be the Miami Police Museum with a Police car attached to it.
Please at least keep the concept in the new building.
The Morning Side Neighborhood Association must be having a panic attack with a new building coming to Biscayne BVLD.

Depends on what the replacement will looks like, but it doesn’t take much when the bar is so low. That atrocious generation of the Chevy Caprice ended the full size non-luxury American car market. Then the third generation Ford Taurus ended mid-size…

The land across Biscayne Boulevard has potential, too. Something curved as it relates to the streets.

What’s the point of even having to approve a building that is well below FAA limits and lower than near by buildings.. just more formalities gotta pass the paper between government desks to keep someone busy

Noise. The 36th Street and 38th Street intersections are incredibly loud and busy. And the highway
runs 1/2 block away. Residents will have to keep their doors and windows shut 24/7.
