The owner of the Chiquita property in Midtown Miami has filed a request to replat the property.
AMLI Residential purchased the 6.6 acre site in November 2015 for $55 million. At the time, a press release from the broker said that plans for a 700 unit project were already approved, but construction hasn’t yet started.
The replat documents state that the project will be built on two separate tracts. The first will have 461 units, with another to include 238 units, for a combined total of 699. That matches plans that have been approved by the city.
The tallest building will be 12 stories, limited by covenant. Zyscovich is the architect.
