Another 872 apartments are planned to be connected to the water and sewer system in Miami, according to a newly completed utilities agreement.
The agreement comes a few months after strong leasing was reported for the first of three towers planned at the development, known as Edgewater Collective.
The first tower has 420 apartments in 36 stories.
A grand opening celebration took place in September. By December, developers Kushner and PTM Partners announced that it was over 50% leased.
The second and third towers are to be located across the street at 1900 Biscayne, bringing the combined number of apartments to just under 1,300.
1900 Biscayne is solely being developed by PTM Partners.
According to the newly completed deal, the new towers at 1900 Biscayne are planned to include:
- 872 apartments
- 6,479 square feet of full service restaurant
- 5,3237 square feet of retail
The connection fee is estimated at $846,719.67. There’s also a Biscayne Basin Sanitary Sewer Special Connection Charge of $513,603.92.
