Downtown Miami’s 57-Story Casa Bella by B&B Italia has moved to the construction permitting phase.
Building Department records show a construction permit application to begin the 649-foot tower was created on September 22.
The full plans were submitted to officials yesterday (October 24) and are now in review.
Private plan review is being used to expedite approval.
According to the filing, the tower will have 317 units with a hard construction cost of $200 million.
Coastal Construction is listed as the contractor.
Full demolition plans for the site were submitted in September, after a demolition permit was applied for in June. A private provider is also being used for review of that permit.
Alta Developers and Related Group are the developers, with Arquitectonica the architect. Piero Lissoni is designing interiors.
