Deep Soil Mixing Wall Planned At 888 Brickell Supertall Site

A dewatering permit application has been submitted to Miami-Dade for the 888 Brickell supertall site.

The application was received by the county on January 22.

Plans submitted with the application show a deep soil mix wall is planned for foundation work.

A 90-story, 1,049-foot Dolce&Gabbana tower is planned on the property.

It will include 259 residential units, 102,805 square feet of commercial uses, and 273 parking spaces.

Miami-Dade issued a total demolition permit last month for an existing 7-story office building on the site.

There’s more to world class cities than a plethora of luxury buildings.

I agree. Generally very nice. Hopefully the podium isn’t to harsh. I like the significant commercial office space component. Makes for truly mixed use building.

Its a luxury residential tower which are selling very well in Miami. It will probably grace the skyline by 2030.

That little stretch is one of the very few minimally charming blocks to walk in Brickell.

There are a few older trees to offer shade and if you squint hard enough and lie to yourself, you might actually feel like you’re in an actual neighborhood.

Nothing like ten stories of garage topped by an 700 foot penis to add charm.

At those prices they should have done at least partial underground parking to hide that hideous 100ft podium. At least 4 stories below ground and the other 6 above ground
