Dewatering Permit Applied For At Tower 91 Site

A dewatering permit application has been filed for the Tower 91 site.

The project name is listed as Cassi Tower in the application.

GT McDonald is listed as the contractor.

A total demolition permit for the site was issued last year and has now been closed out. Applications have also been filed for site work and for a master construction permit to build the new tower.

Cassi Tower is planned to include:

  • 107 multi-family residential units
  • 21,812 square feet of commercial space
  • 227 parking spaces

Elkus Manfredi is the architect, with Cube3 the architect of record.

Design District Associates and Prinz Corner LLC, which are affiliated entities of DACRA and the owners of the property located at 91-93 NE 36 Street, are the developers.

Great build above that ugly base. Crappy location — between 36th st and 195. Imagine the noise on the pool deck.

We need less 1955-inspired architecture, and more 1925 (Mediterranean Revival) and 1935 (Streamline Moderne). Not every building is a Fountainebleu.
