Downtown Miami’s First Ever Chick-Fil-A Is Opening At Brightline’s MiamiCentral Tomorrow

Chick-Fil-A will open its first ever location in downtown Miami on December 17.

The store will be located on the ground floor of MiamiCentral, the massive rail hub built by Brightline in downtown Miami.

Thousands of new residents have recently moved into newly completed apartments in the area, and thousands more apartments are either under construction or planned nearby.

According to posts on social media, the store will open tomorrow at 7 AM.

A very good addition to downtown. Someone needs to buy out Mana’s downtown property holdings! He is c-blocking Miami’s potential.

This is great. Now we need one in Brickell please.

Just take the mover.

Agreed for when you have plenty of time but when you work in south Brickell, the mover can be a bit slow for a lunch break to downtown.

I went to the chick fil a all the way in dadeland mall via the metrorail from the government in between my MDC classes. You’re close to the downtown chick fil a.

Are you kidding?.. these people in Miami want things like parks right outside their door!

They expect a metromover station on ever block, a publix in their yard and the turnpike entrance 20 feet away

Anonymous

And they want somebody else to foot the bill on that shit also!

Anonymous

That would be nice…except for the turnpike thing. No, not that.

This is not the first Chick-fil-A in downtown Miami. There was one at Metro Fare in the Stephen Clark center for many years.

Boooo we want Popeyes! Their chicken is better; they’re open on Sundays; and the company doesn’t support hate.

Im gay and still eat at Chick Fil A because it is significantly better than Popeyes in my opinion.

Me too! Food doesn’t have politics!

If food doesn’t have politics, then tell me why they donate to FCA. That’s pretty political.

cry more

Right, because pointing out something discriminatory means crying. Good thing you’ve led such a privileged life. Must be nice to have everything you want or ask for in life and everyone just gives it to you.

It actually is….so?

Chick-Fil-A also donated to the SPLC, so what’s you’re point?

Anonymous

Not gay but PDQ is the best of the bunch.

Popeyes is better, but Chick Fil A is the more responsible corporate actor on the same level as Starbucks. So I have known multiple people from disadvantaged backgrounds that attended college on a Chick Fil A scholarship.

Typical liberal, cries about a group and then insults another group. Also you’re probably white yourself, Hispanic isn’t a race and most of y’all are white in Dade county. So quit being racist and hiding behind being gay when you’re just a awful person.

If you think CFA’s chicken is better than Popeyes, then you must not be from the south. Please rank for me the following: CFA, Popeyes, Zaxby’s, KFC, Church’s, Publix (since we’re in Florida), and Bojangles.

Pop, Pub, CFA, Zax, churche, KFC, Boj .. in that order

Same for me, except switch Zax with CFA.

Your nuts—Bojangles is #1, KFC (Kentucky Fried Crap) shouldn’t even be allowed on the list

Popeye’s chicken and sides are great, plus they’re HQ’d locally.

Anonymous

Popeye’s is owned by a Canadian company when Burger King merged with Tim Hortons and relocated to Canada in 2014, courtesy of Obozo’s “two percent is the new normal” economic policy. On top of that, it’s one-third owned by Brazilian private equity.

They’re about as local as saying a Volkswagen or Honda assembled in the United States is an American car.

Their comment is still accurate, they said HQd locally not owned locally. Popeyes HQ is in Blue Lagoon

I wonder if TNM ever imagined this discussion when they opened this site? Hmmmm? Architecture, art, real estate, construction, entertainment, design, chicken. Interesting.
