Edition Residences Gets $160M In Reservations, Groundbreaking Summer 2023

The 55-story Edition Residences in Edgewater has opened a new sales gallery and announced an expected groundbreaking date.

Groundbreaking is expected in Summer 2023, according to an April 10 press release.

A total of $160 million in condo reservations are in place, with conversion to contracts expected over the next month.

To mark the opening of the new $10 million sales gallery, the developers held a lavish event attended by “many VIPs and A-listers,” including City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez.

The event included a drone show and performance by DJ Ruckus.

The Edition will include 185 condos in a sleek glass tower.

Mayor of Miami should be focusing on the big issues of the city rather than spending time at events like these.

The artist rendition is beautiful ! I hope its not like the Paradisio renderings that look nothing like the completed buildings.

Only in Miami would they refer to a city office as an “A lister/VIP” lol

Another gem in edgewater, may the city improve the pumping with the impact fees though.

Probably not going to help at all. The mayor is too busy partying at events like these and helping his developer friends than fixing actual problems in the city

The mayor is a puppet with no actual power. He can go waste his time and money trying to run for president

Strap Saurez and Cava to water jetpacks, and send them to the moon.

Cava isn’t that bad, but she gets overridden by the commissioners whenever she tries to do something.

One can hope the impact fees would be used for this but based on all the other developments its doubtful the city will fix those issues.

The Edition is a good addition to the Miami skyline.

I was just thinking the same thing. The backs of these buildings are often terrible. 😆

Gorgeous pool. Although I am concerned about density of this area, without planned infrastructure in place, I am happy the baywalk is landscaped and doesn’t look like a halfway sea wall like in other spots

They do need to shore up the existing sea wall, you can see rebar in some spots and water laps the bottom at high tides. That said, it’s going to be a great addition to the Bay Walk.

Any word on demolition of Biscayne 21? I live down the street and if I’m not mistaken, it’s still occupied.

Another tower right at the bay, with a parking garage behind it taking up the entire block.

Cool, so are they building the only decent looking tower first, and going back to the drawing board with the two boxes proposed behind it?

Looks like they’re about to open a sales office at the Paramount building down the street from the site.

Please tell me more about how tall buildings are not the future and we need a small scale walkable neighborhood… that doesnt get old coming from the fools.

I heard Arquitectonica! employees must submit all drawing proposals on an Etch-a-Sketch. Please verify.
