The Richman Group, which bills itself as the nation’s 7th largest apartment owner, is planning a 330-unit residential project in Edgewater.
Plans were submitted by Richman to the city late last month for Biscayne 27, on a 2.2-acre lot at 2701 Biscayne Boulevard. It replaces previous plans for the Ion condo project.
The eight-story project will skew towards smaller unit sizes, including 71 studio apartments. A 380-space parking garage is also planned, with a 30 percent parking requirement reduction requested.
Recent investments by The Richman Group in Miami include West Brickell Tower and West Brickell View, both low income projects.
Corwil Architects is the architect.
