The developer of the Elysee condo tower in Edgewater is preparing for review of the project by a Miami board after they closed on the purchase of the project site.
Records show that 700 Miami Partners LLC, an affiliate of Two Roads Development, paid $22 million for the project site late last month. $20 million in financing was provided by a New York lender.
Plans call for an Arquitectonica-designed telescoping tower that is 647.4 feet above ground. The maximum height permitted in the area is 649 feet above sea level, meaning the project site is less than two feet above sea level.
