Emirates Begins Flying Retrofitted 777s To Miami After 49% Growth

Emirates has commenced flying newly retrofitted 777s on its flights to and from Miami.

The redesigned planes come after Emirates saw passenger traffic at MIA rise by 49% in 2024.

The updated 777s are available daily on Emirates flights from Miami to both Dubai and Bogotá.

There are four classes on the plane, with a new Premium Economy section. Bogotá becomes the first city in South America served by Emirates Premium Economy service.

In Business Class, the planes are a major upgrade in comfort. Each passenger will enjoy direct-aisle access, with the seats in a 1-2-1 configuration.

The airline first launched passenger flights between Miami and Dubai in 2021. It added service between Miami and Bogotá in 2024.
