FAA Approves Height Of 392-Unit Residential Tower At Met Square

The FAA has issued a favorable determination to MDM Development for their Met Square project, allowing the tower to be built at the full height that they had proposed.

Met Square will include 392 residential units in a 538-foot tower. It will also include a 1,780-seat movie theater, along with 37,666 square feet of restaurant space.

A $42 million construction loan was funded earlier this month.

Approval for the height of the tower comes just weeks after the Daily Business Review published an erroneous report implying that the FAA wanted to sharply reduce the proposed height of Met Square, along with several other proposed towers. The agency is also near a decision on the remaining towers, including One Brickell City Centre.
