FAA Filing For 731-Foot Tower In Brickell

A filing with the Federal Aviation Administration shows that a tower is being planned in Brickell.

The filing was made on August 9.

The proposed building height is listed at 731 feet above ground, or 733 feet above sea level.

The location the building is proposed appears to be adjacent to the Lofty Brickell site, on land owned by Lofty’s developer. The sponsor name is not listed.

In March, another application was submitted for a 709-foot skyscraper on adjacent land. That application moved to interim status on July 15, and lists NGD Riverfront LLC (managed by Harvey Hernandez) as the sponsor.

Excited to see the plans. Hope this doesn’t mean that beautiful expansive ultra wide river walk with the valet car loop and lush landscaping will be struck from the plans, it’s one of my favorite parts.

That ultra wide riverwalk section seems too good to be true…

Could use a fountain if indeed it remains…

Yes someplace people can all sit around and see painters and artists perform along the water, grab a bite relax or go for a bike ride at sunset.

If included in the plans it is part of the offering, no? Not sure what’s so hard about paving a floor, landscaping and lighting.

It cuts into profits, plain and simple. A rendering is not the same thing as a plan – this is a pretty marketing pitch.

I’m optimistic that the riverwalk will match its depiction, if not be improved. Presenting an amenity that doesn’t exist goes against public policy and principles of good faith, at the very least.

Renderings show how a property could look with key features, not used to mislead. Modifications within reason, not removing, only improving.

how a property could look, not how it will look….you proved his point

The ultra-wide refined riverwalk adds amazing curb appeal. It could use oversized art sculptures, like in Fort Laud, but the layout and size are of the space are very promising and on target! This will be worth it 🤩

Expansive and ultra wide another to see the bald spot mural parking garage on the proposed building above.

Hope they do it up more than the pictures, like Chicago river front. They have lots of walkways and bike paths on the river. We need Ken’s help here!

More NYC Flavor Coming to Brickell

As a big fan of NYC’s Avra, I’m thrilled about their opening at Lofty. The expansive Greek spot on the water is going to be 🔥 The property’s co-working space and marina are fantastic additions, too.

Density is good but a lot of these buildings are very very close together

Well then that’s the definition of “density”.

That riverwalk concept is what Miami looks like in my dreams

Anon

It’s what ever City in America does on the riverfront. Miami needs this to be at all competitive – about time!

Rebudget everything in Miami and make the riverfront a top priority – more important than the structure, or lose to Ft Lauderdale and other areas promising and already producing riverfronts!

So it’s a second tower on the south side of the Lofty podium?

Second tower North East of the Lofty tower, it appears based on the map above.

Rather City allow them to change the road configuration to have more property line than build over that designated riverwalk space.

If that’s what they need to hit this “profit margin” that will never be good enough by all means, all that is important for investors is the riverwalk plan!
