1010 Brickell now has the FAA’s blessing to be built up to a height of 548-feet above ground, after the agency determined last week that the condo building would not pose a threat to air traffic.
The 50-story, 387-unit condo tower is already under construction. Key International and 13th Floor Investments are the developers.
Also approved by the FAA this week was Related Group’s 42-story Icon Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale, at 457 feet above ground. The 272-unit project is expected to begin construction by next month as a rental project.
