Brickell City Centre’s first office building will open by the end of 2015, Miami Today reported last week.
Law firm Akerman has leased 106,000-square-feet in the 12-story building. In total, the building will include 130,000-square-feet.
A second office building of similar size will open in the first quarter of 2016, and space is now being marketed. Developer Swire Properties is asking $50 per square foot for the full-service, Class A space.
A Swire representative told the paper that two buildings are the only office towers of any significance under construction in the area. They also benefit from being connected to the mall at Brickell City Centre, and will have category-5 hurricane resistant glass, along with network connectivity of the NAP of the Americas.
