First Crane Installed At 53-Story Miami World Tower Site

The first tower crane has been installed at the Miami World Tower 1 construction site, according to a photo by Kyle Merville.

Foundation construction also appears to be nearing completion, the photo shows.

Miami World Tower 1 is planned to rise 53 stories, or 579 feet. Panorama Tower is the only existing rental apartment building in Miami that is taller, although others planned and under construction will surpass that height.

The project is planned to include 565 apartments and 3,000 square feet of full service restaurant, according to a utilities agreement. Plans filed with the city earlier showed 401 parking spaces.

when is the commercial space at MWC going to start opening??!

Jesus

Yeah that needs to start asap as Miami is arguably one of the best business friendly environments in the United States. After Microsoft, we could become “Silicon Beach”

One could argue thanks to the works of Dr. Miami, it is already Silicon Beach.

Jesus

Possibly but I believe we need a couple of more companies and venture capital needs to increase to a level comparable to at least Austin where tech companies are starting up everywhere

Microsoft moves LATAM operations from Fort Lauderdale, and all of a sudden we’re the next Silicon Beach. LOL.

MWC is the biggest joke !! Absolutely -0- cohesion. Just a bunch of lots sold off to various developers with the principals Arthur Falcone and Nitin Motwani waving their fingers Yes or No.

That’s exactly what many developments are.

Do you prefer the human wasteland that this area was before?

???

From the original concept to what it will be is better! The original was a mall with a few buildings but now it’s much more than that… we just have to wait until it’s all finished to appreciate it.

Boring design, but at least it may capture all the riff raff from Paramount.

That building doesn’t deserve to be named “Miami World Tower”

We all know it will not look like the renderings, so I expect just another rectangular box on top of a podium, like we don’t have enough of those.

I walk around MWC almost daily. We should start to see it activate by the end of the year, or early 2023, but it will still be until 2024 that we see the transformation.

Not loving the design, but there are others, I’m sure, who will enjoy it. Plus, it’s contributing to the economy.

I have a question.

In the third rendering down from the top, after the two photos, where did that lovely little park come from? I’m referring to the one with a pond surrounded by trees that appears near the corner of Miami Ave and NW 11th Terrace.

Did somebody just whimsically throw that into the rendering, or are there actually plans for that?

The flames painted on the car BS is so outdated.

This is the year 2022 not 1980. And you’re in the United States, not Mexico!

Anonymous

haha the building that looks like flames painted on a mexican car.you said that many times berore, how many times are you going to repeat the same stupid joke about this building?

Anonymous

I’ll repeat it as long as they keep designing obnoxious BS like this.

Next question…

Anonymous
