First Crane Installed At 56-Story Construction Site In Edgewater

The 56-story Villa Miami Residences now has its first construction crane in place.

Villa is planned as an ultra-luxury, cooper-clad tower that will top off at 650 feet.

It will have just 70 condo units. Residents will have access to a 3-story amenity space called The Copper Club.

There will also be a rooftop helipad, and a waterfront restaurant.

Groundbreaking took place in December.

This and Missioni Baia are like mini New York City and Dubai pencil towers.

Nothing to brag about. Nobody with a sound mind likes 432 Park Avenue.

The steinway building is the best of the pencil towers.

Funny how they haven’t shown the podium at all in any of the renderings…its an 80ft tall brown box taking up an entire lot down the street…

It’s because podiums don’t matter much to their buyers. Take the hint.

To back up the hide the garages guy if I was buying an expensive unit in the urban area I would want it to be a walkable area not with a giant garage the spans the block with less light when it’s dark out and little retail I’m guessing too

….if you were, but you’re not. And the people selling to those that are actual buyers apparently don’t have the same laser focus on podiums that HTG does. Probably because their buyers aren’t so interested either. Location/views>>>podiums.

who said I was talking about the buyers? you know urban planning is a thing right? a city can decide what these big developers are allowed to build

^^buyers are all that matter in this equation, urban planners offer nothing beyond their egos, this isn’t China, private property rights are a thing here

^^you know “they” have buyers, right? lmao No buyers, no buildings. Review boards don’t buy anything.

Buyers here aren’t looking for a neighborhood feel

Does anyone know if the copper cladding is real copper or copper colored aluminum?
