First Glass Installed At 224-Unit Wynwood Haus, Topping Off Shortly

Wynwood Haus has had its first glass installed and is very near to topping off, new photos by Ryan RC Rea show.

The tower is planned to rise 20 stories, and now appears to be just about there.

Foundation work for the project began in June 2021 next to the Miami City Cemetery.

Wynwood Haus will include:

  • 224 apartments
  • 5,375 square feet of ground floor commercial space
  • 222 parking spaces

The tower will top off at height of 222 feet above ground, or 232 feet above sea level, according to a filing with the FAA.

TSG and Lineaire are the developers.

Corwil is the architect.

Development names outside of neighborhoods and without relation to geographic features is standard real estate practice.

I wish the city would have required something more aesthetic for the blank stucco wall of the garage towering over the cemetery…even just the same treatment as the other side facing the street. Overall its nice infill but this just seems like a missed opportunity that wouldn’t have greatly increased the cost for the developer and would have avoided the blank stucco wall dominating the cemetery.

Huh

A hideous mural would be disrespect to the cemetery. Some vertical landscaping would look nice, however.

Good infill and there is a massive lot south of the cemetery that needs to be developed. I think the previous owner went bankrupt.

I love the exposed concrete columns. Gives a very industrial look.
