First Glass Installed At 31-Story Yotelpad Miami, Which Is Being Built Without A Parking Garage

Downtown Miami’s 31-story Yotelpad tower is rising fast and has now had its first windows installed.

Yotelpad became what brokers say is the fastest selling condo project in downtown Miami’s history, and will also include hotel rooms that are owned by developers Aria Development Group and Kuwait’s Aqarat.

A total of 453 units are being built, including 222 hotel rooms on the lower 15 floors and 231 Yotelpad condos on the upper levels.

There is no parking garage being built.

Vertical construction got underway in July, and the contractors now appear to have nearly completed the shell of the lower hotel portion and are near the amenity level.

Stantec is the architect.

The bottom of the tower somewhat reminds me of a prison.

And the windows do not look operable, did not know that was an option?

Really???

It’s a hotel, you don’t want operable windows.

Let me guess, you’re the first one to praise Melo’s giant prison?

Great infill in the heart of it all! Based on the sales downtown market can clearly absorb plenty of projects like this Miami is slowly realizing it’s full potential.

All depends on the sellers, this project and some others got sold fast. Meanwhile Related had two cancel two of their projects because “the market is slow”

The related projects you mention, Auberge and The One, are COMPLETELY different types of projects than this. You have a little homework to do before your next comment.

All Related projects built from 2011 have been terrible investments for buyers, whom have lost big amounts of money, are furious for believing the lies of the developers and brokers who promised to be great investments. Buyers are all ignorants, specially international ones.

“little homework to do before your next comment.” They’re only larger and they were trying to sell them for years and failed at it. So do some homework boomer.

No it’s a branded hotel called Yotel. However you can put your units in the pool and have Yotel manage with a revenue split.

Condo units at YotelPAD can be rented with any platform.

No parking but they manage to make the podium still look like a parking deck is behind it. Disappointing design.

Oh I can’t wait until it’s done in 2021. It’s more budget friendly for room rates.

This will be great for the area! But not so great for the residents at the Loft1 building. Their balconies are smack on top of Yotel!! Many views are being blocked as construction is being built but this is literally on top of each other.

The city, yet again, allows a hotel to build with out a car ramp. Cars will be parked, with their hazards on of course, non stop.

Very glad they are not building another useless parking garage! More parking is such a waste of space. There is more than enough parking.
