First Glass Installed At $425 Million River Landing, On Track For 1Q 2020 Completion

The massive River Landing project rising in Miami’s Health District has had its first glass installed, new aerial photos show.

Two residential towers are now rising 13 and 15 stories above a 12-story parking garage (for a total of 25 and 27 stories), according to Construction Today.

The $425 million project will include:

  • 529 apartments for rent
  • 345,000 square feet of retail
  • A ground level “restaurant row” in front of a newly built riverwalk
  • 136,000 square feet of office
  • 2,200 parking spaces

Completion is scheduled for early 2020

Publix, Burlington Stores, TJ Maxx, West Marine, Ross Dress for Less, AT&T and Hobby Lobby have all signed on as tenants for the retail space. In total, 70 percent of space is pre-leased.

UrbanX of Coral Gables is the developer. BC Architects is the project architect.

Restaurant Row on a huge bay walk ?? YES

I could be wrong but according to Google Maps it looks like one could walk to Marlins Park from this place without crossing any major streets in around half a mile. I think in 5 years Marlins Park will end up being a great location.

Yes, you are wrong.

Yes you can.

It’ll be a little over half a mile walk to the ballpark but you do have to go over the bridge then under 836 and deal with all the on and off ramps then cross 7th street. Not sure how good of a sidewalk there is to and from.
