Brokers for the firm (SKH and Metro 1) had already been marketing a development called the Mega Building at 43-65 NW 23rd Street, on property that East End bought for $5.37 million earlier this year. The asking price is $50 triple net, and ‘only mega brands need apply.’
East End also bought another nearby property at 2214 North Miami Avenue in May for $4.715 million.
The developer’s website was recently updated with new renderings of what is planned in Wynwood. In total, East End has 1.4 million square feet of development rights in Wynwood. Of that amount, about 500,000 square feet is in active pre-development with initial ground breaking expected by 2016.
