There’s A Barracuda In The Lobby At Echo Brickell: First Look Inside

The 57-story Echo Brickell is now open. It has a lobby that includes a massive fish tank with barracuda, eel, puffer fish and stingrays.

These are the first photos showing the interior of the property, with the first resale units in the building now on the MLS.

As of this morning, eight units in the 172-unit tower were listed as available for resale. The average asking price of the units listed for resale on the MLS is $1,256 per square foot. Unit sizes ranged from 884 square feet to 3,012 square feet, with prices from $965,000 to $4,199,000.

Last week, the developer told The Real Deal that nearly 30 units had already closed.

Sellout value is said to be about $300 million. The developer paid $25 million for the site and obtained a $124 million construction loan.

PMG is the developer. Carlos Ott is the architect, and Yoo Studio Design oversaw the interiors.

From the pics it looks like a high-end hotel.

Too bad the fish tank doesn’t have sharks as originally intended, because some hippie woman was triggered by it.

Beautiful in every aspect. The only flaw I can think of is greeted by Bozo the Clown’s daughter in the front.

Wait a minute. There is no stove exhaust intake in the kitchen? Major fail. Where else did they cut corners? Oh wait, Miami GCs and developers…

Stove exhaust is actually there but it is hidden underneath the cabinet. Look closely at the photo and you will seee it. The kitchen looks great with all high end appliances by Sub Zero & Wolf

hehe…there is simply no comparison. First of all Echo has water views, finishes are a lot nicer. Maybe the common areas at Reach and Rise are better.

Until they build and block all the Echo views to the bay.
