A South Beach property owner wants to build a unique five-story vertical home designed to “house three generations of women.”
The property is a tiny 2,829 square feet, but the owner wants to go vertical and build a total of 3,417 square feet of interior space.
At the ground floor will be a driveway under the building with space for two cars, and an entrance area with a stairway and elevator.
The second floor will have two bedrooms for a mother and her daughter.
Level three will have a living room, dining room and kitchen, along with an outdoor pool deck.
A master bedroom with its own terrace and sitting area will be located on level four.
Level five will have an outdoor fire pit and barbecue area, with another terrace on level six.
Kathia Jimenez and Brigitte Neuhauser are listed as the owners, with Gabriel Lopez the architect.
The Miami Beach Design Review Board will review the plans in September.
