Foundation Equipment Has Arrived At The Aston Martin Residences Site

Piling machinery is now in place at the construction site where the 391-unit Aston Martin Residences is being built, just days before an official groundbreaking ceremony.

Last week, the developer announced that they would hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the 66-story tower on October 18.

In August, a Notice of Commencement was filed indicating the start of foundation work. Coastal Construction is the contractor, with piling equipment from HJ Foundation at the site.

Nay-sayers will keep saying this is never happening until the day it opens.

You are correct, they said the same thing about Flatiron. Sales have been strong in this project, it will most definitely happen.

Jorge Perez still cannot believe they’re ACTUALLY going to do this because, you know, they ACTUALLY have balls and take risk in doing something of this magnitude in a shaky luxury market

Test piles. Not even the main building test piles. Looks like test piles for the garage. Fake groundbreaking by fake developer.

That building is going to fall down if they use that small piling machine. This is a PR stunt.

If not a PR stunt, then it is a test pile.
