Four New Retailers Announced At Worldcenter: Savage X Fenty, Lululemon, Ray-Ban, & Posman Books

Four new retailers have just been announced at Miami Worldcenter, according to a press release.

They include:

  • Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty, which will occupy 3,000 square feet at the base of Paramount Miami Worldcenter, on the corner of Northeast 1st Avenue and 8th Street.
  • Lululemon, which is taking approximately 3,815 square feet fronting Worldcenter’s pedestrian promenade along Northeast 7th Street and the World Square Plaza.
  • Ray-Ban will join Lululemon with a 2,000 square foot shop along the Northeast 7th Street pedestrian promenade.
  • Posman Books will occupy nearly 2,000 square feet of retail space along the development’s World Promenade pedestrian street at the base of Paramount

All of the newly announced retailers will open in 2023.

Also coming to Worldcenter (and already announced): Sephora, Bowlero, Lucid Motors, Sports & Social, Maple & Ash, Etta, Brasserie Laurel, and El Vecino.

Downtown is a such a dead zone for book stores, this is great.

And there’s MDC right there!

oh JOY! Then we can read our books on a blighted campus next to homeless crackheads!

Too bad two-thirds of MDC graduates can’t even read their own diplomas.

They can probably read…but everytime a horrible driver does something dumb…it is a 95% certainty that a I AM MIAMI-DADE sticker is in the window.

Amazingly, the largest Book Fair in the world is the Miami International Book Fair, downtown at Miami Dade College….coming up next month. Everyone put your book loving money where your comment section mouths are.

It is a dead zone for book stores. Which is why it makes no sense why the Downtown Main Library is being torn down. These are invaluable institutions.

Anon

That hideous joke of a library is being torn down because it is being rebuilt, thank god.

Are you talking about that “Monk Monastery?”

Uniqlo please. Miami’s the only major city without one.

Don’t think Uniqlo belongs at this high scale luxury development. Understandable at Dadeland Mall, Aventura Mall, or Sawgrass. Need to attract a certain type of clientele who will be able no just shop at a store, but also spend money at the variety of other vendors and restaurants.

Well, excuse me your Highness…

You think this is more high scale than aventura…?? 🤣🤣🤣 Aventura has all the top high end fashion brands. World center won’t even come close.

Anonymous

You mean Bal Harbour Shops? Aventura has everything from J.C. Penney and Macy’s to Gucci and Louis Vuitton.

Right? Who needs an ubiquitous store loved by everybody and carries an array of clothing, when you can have an overpriced woke underwear shop?

Anonymous

“woke underwear shop?”

Is that the opposite of “sleepy underwear shop?”

Psyched for Posman Books! Very cool brand and was hoping we would get a bookstore in MWC!

Good to see that open a book store. That’s mean that the area will attract more sophisticated residents.

The Savage X Fenty location is surprising! That space was originally reserved for a huge high-end restaurant. WILD that this will the base of Paramount right next to the entrance.

Awesome! Love that retail is making a comeback, only in Miami. That should be the new city tagline “Only In Miami.”

I think the world’s largest book fair is in Guadalajara, not Miami. Perhaps Miami has the largest English language based fair.

Don’t think we could have gotten a Barnes & Noble and a Urban Outfitters? Essential stores in any major Downtown setting.

Anonymous

Barnes & Noble doesn’t open any news stores, and Urban Outfitters would make more sense along Flagler Street, if only Manlet didn’t hold it hostage.

Anonymous

Barnes & Noble is seen in a lot of big city Downtown areas and would be a fine addition.

Anon

I would love a Barnes and Noble somewhere downtown for sure

Keep wishing. Barnes and Noble closed a lot their stores across this country years ago.

I like Barnes and Noble but i prefer independent book stores like books and books or posman.
