Giant Guitar-Shaped Hotel At Seminole Hard Rock Turns On Light Beams That Can Be Seen For Miles Around

The Seminole Hard Rock activated an intense lighting system at their massive new hotel this week – and it is so bright that it can be seen across county lines.

12 beams of light can now be seen shooting into the night sky at the top of a 450-foot guitar-shaped tower. They are visible for miles around, and residents have been posting photos to social media.

The lights can be seen by residents of Broward, but also well into Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties. The intention is for the lights to be visible as far away as Miami Beach and Boca Ration, a Hard Rock spokesperson previously said.

The guitar-shaped tower itself appears to be illuminated in a changing, multi-colored lighting system.

The Seminoles are spending $1.5 billion on the expansion, including the guitar tower, new gaming areas, and entertainment spaces. Reservations are being accepted at the new guitar hotel tower for arrivals in late October.

We need a Las Vegas style casino in downtown Miami, close to Brightline/Virgin Train station.

Why

Anonymous

Why not?

Anonymous

I will tell you why, because the location would be great for it. We have the AAA Arena, we have Bayside, we will have Skyrise, and a Casino would bring Restaurants, Comedy bars, and shops. I don’t gamble but I love going to Vegas, Macau, and even just up the road to Hollywood. People who are against it talk about it like it is the apocalypse, meanwhile all the locations listed above are doing just fine.

You obviously know nothing about urban planning and infrastructure impact… You like going to Vegas because all that chaos and mayhem is not at your door step… We do not need anymore traffic in downtown. Parking is already crazy and nobody uses public transit… no Casino!

Oh, you’re no fun.

No we don’t.

It just doesn’t belong in suburban Broward. Would be awesome next to the stadium.

Anonymous

So suburban Miami?

Anonymous

The area around the stadium is the suburbs as well.

Love it !!!! Great addition to the night skyline of the City

The FAA wouldn’t let the ‘Rock build the neck of the guitar, but let them get away with this? #CashPlays
