Guests Love Brickell’s New SLS Hotel, Closings On Condo Units About To Begin

Guests of the brand new SLS Brickell seem to love the hotel.

Of the seven guest reviews posted to Tripadvisor since the hotel opened on October 10, six have given the hotel five stars, with one ranking it four stars.

Reviewers praised the trendy design, large rooms, service and Michael Schwartz restaurant. One reviewer complained about a $47 parking fee.

The hotel is located on the 10 lower levels of the 52-story tower, with the rest of the building dedicated to 450 residential condo units. Closing on those units are set to begin imminently.

Belongs to a cheap motel in mimo distrong along with the rest of the room decor. I wouldn’t spend more than $150 for this room. The only safe choice is the location. Surprised by the huge desapointment from SBE part…. maybe they are trying to differentiate from SLS Luxe market…?

What??? What sector of the market are they targeting to? 80s quinceañeras? This is by far the ugliest interior design i’ve seen. I totally prefer to stay in a generic brand hotel like Motel 8 or La Quinta than staying in this time machine. I am surprised by SBE….??? First Related horrible decision to ruin the facade with the rainbow painting that looks poorly executed, and then on the inside you find this??? It is an insult to buyers, guests and neighbors.

I have to look at that rainbow painting façade every single day, and each day I cringe. You are correct it is definitely an insult to buyers, guests, and neighbors.

I passed by a few weeks ago, and that rainbow thing looks cheap and awful!

Rooms look dated and cheap

Who cares about any of this? The only thing we’re interested in is the oversized SLS sign on top. Where is it? Without it this building is boring af

They end up just putting some large grey SLS letters at the top. Hardly noticeable! What a fail.

Really? I live just accross the street and I see nothing. Did they really drop the big colorful sign?? I would ask for a refund if I had invested there..it’s the only thing that gave character to that building.

this is a pic from my office building of the sign they put up. its pretty bad in terms of the renderings compared with what they actually did. Pretty shameful for the owners.

OMG…this is Miami but Miami is not defined by pink flamingo anymore. And the pink is not the only problem…the entire room is a time machine to the 80s…and who wants that when you Epic, Four Seasons, or JW Marquis with contemporary finishes??? I don’t know anyone who is stocked in the 80s in terms of design or fashion…huge mistake on Stark!! I predict those rooms to be redone in the near future.

Whole lotta weight to be placed on a handful of tripadvisor reviews that were most likely written by employees. $47 a day for parking is offensively expensive. We’re no where near that short on spaces in Brickell.

This place is not that great. East is a much better property, more modern and more classy and probably cheaper

The bathroom is an embarrassment as well as the room decor. Is SBE becoming the “New Holiday Inn”??????

Rooms do look quite large for the city center!

I will complain if they ask me 47$ for parking space, with all the parking spaces available and in a safe neighborhood

Safe for now but Brickell seems to be turning into a crime scene. http://miami.cbslocal.com/2016/10/27/miami-triple-shooting-may-be-related-to-brickell-robberies/

I still can’t get over the OFFENSIVELY UGLY mural on the outside. That artist really f-ed it up. Related should ask for a refund. Or at least do the neighborhood a favor and paint over it.
