Here’s How UDRB Voted On Major Projects Last Month

Miami’s Urban Development Review Board had a full agenda of projects that it voted on last month.

Here are the results from the June 21 meeting:

700 NMA

  • Explore improved pedestrian connectivity from the Metro mover station to N. Miami Ave
  • Reexamine the central driveway to make it more accommodating to pedestrians

The development is planned to include 2,346 dwelling units, 30,535 square feet commercial, and 2,078 parking spaces in three towers at the former Miami Arena site.

One Brickell City Centre

The UDRB voted to recommended approval with one condition:

  • Study vertical design elements-the exposed columns, for example-to be brought down to the ground floor to harmonize the architectural design.

St. Regis Residences

The UDRB voted to recommended approval with one condition:

  • Study the balconies at the lower levels in an attempt to widen areas that cannot currently be fully furnished.

The development is planned to include 152 residential units and 391 parking spaces in a 48-story, 648-foot tower.

Project NMA

The UDRB voted to recommended approval without any conditions.

455 parking spaces in a 46-story tower.

2000 Wynwood

The UDRB voted to recommended approval with three conditions:

  • Consider adding pedestrian-supporting retail uses on ground 20th St.
  • Study configuration of corridors to allow more light and create a more human-friendly experience
  • Consider relocating the lobby to accommodate corner retail
The development is planned to include 310 residential units, 9,416 square feet of retail, and 308 parking spaces in a 12-story building.

1010 Spring Garden
