I wish it had a marquee of some sort like theaters in other downtowns.

Oh nooo…just take a look at the ‘glorius design’, who knows what they’ll do with the marquee

You’re late to the party, we’ve seen the design and gushed about it months ago.

I get that its a movie theatre and doesn’t need ‘views’ per se, but could they not come up with a more creative material for the facade than plain painted stucco? At least use metalwork like they use to screen parking garages or led displays or something. So incredibly blah. The one redeeming factor is that this site will be completely surrounded by other buildings so you’ll only see this when you’re on that block.

I agree. This is as boring as the residential tower they built next door..

The theater at the Lincoln Rd. mall/SoBe looks decades ahead of this design.

Stucco cannot span that far without cracking. At least we have some score lines to look forward too. !!

I hate stucco, soecialy the way they apply it in Miami. At 6 o’clock you see the infinite imperfections of the poor application.

Beautiful design, love it. Finally somewhere centered to go watch a movie in.

Can’t wait till it’s finished.

A decade to develop the Best sites in downtown and we end up with a building that should be located in Dadeland area

Love how they pictured the metromover in the background.

How can the city allow for this building to be built on such important land. What an awful design and architecture.

Who is the archictect??? And what waste of a precious site to do something that will look dated before they open it.

This project had the chance to be the ‘ rockefeller center of miami’….and it looks like a poor design building from the previous bubble cycle.
