i5 Wynwood Co-Living Community Reaches Completion With 215 Suites

Hundreds of new residents are about to begin moving into a newly completed co-living building known as i5 Wynwood.

Leasing and move-ins for i5 Wynwood have now begun, according to a press release.

Residents will have their own private bedroom and ensuite bathroom, inside a 3 or 4 bedroom apartment. The living area and kitchen will be shared.

Prices start at $1580 per bedroom, assuming a 12-month lease with 2 promotional months added, the i5 leasing website says.

Arquitectonica is the architect, with interiors by Michael Wolk.

Related Group and W5 Group are the developers.

$1600 for a room and shared living is insane! And you’ll have to make 27.40/hr to live here.

They couldn’t make the shared spaces any larger?! The sizing is reminiscent of my college dorm…

I have a genuine question, who the fuck is actuallly moving to Wynwood?? All I see are these huge concrete developments and they all look like ghost towns. Are people actually occupying these places?

It’s about to blow up! Most of those concrete developments are still in development, but once they open, this will be a real neighborhood.

It’s about to blow up ? I agree, when these buildings open and the retail space is occupied Wynwood will be really amazing .

Developers should be building up Overtown and Riverside where people have access to metro system and it’s actually in the urban core

They refuse to give riverside/east little Havana/west brickell any good zoning. That’s the issue, it’s all t4r next to Jose Marti park – except for avra Jains properties, they get special zoning. Lol. Wynwood is a concrete pit of transplants.

In Riverside (“west Brickell” or west of the I-95 border of Brickell and along Jose Martí Park), the addition of retail and commercial spaces should be allowed. This would offer residents quality local amenities along the river, including denser modern buildings or row houses, with some new master planned neighborhood while preserving any historical sights. Similar to the West Village in NYC, these spaces could house modern ground-level businesses with living spaces above, enhancing the neighborhood’s vibrancy and waterfront attractions.

yeah it could also be boutique 8 floor walk up buildings so more than just one floor of people can live close to brickell. I don’t think we should copy NYC, and especially not the West Village where things are crazy unaffordable

I personally enjoy having roomates but $1.6k with 4 other people is a deal breaker lol. Maybe if it were just me and someone else but I’m not living with a group of grown men like that. Just imagine the kitchen mess every morning…

I wouldn’t live here if it were free, but good to have different options!

Happened to drive by it yesterday and remarked to my husband how much I disliked their exterior color choices. I’m OK with pastels, but these specific choices look like it’s simply a seriously faded, 10 year-old paint job.

This is the same thing poor migrants did in NYC in the 1800s wow we have gone back in time people can’t afford privacy anymore

No, that was pre-reformation tenement housing. This more more like SROs, whose decline has resulting in more homelessness and should make a comeback.
