In Brickell, First Crane Installed At 75-Story Baccarat Residences Construction Site

A tower crane has now been installed at the construction site of one of the tallest buildings to ever break ground in Brickell.

Baccarat Residences is planned to rise 75 stories, or 848 feet above ground and 852 feet above sea level.

Construction has been underway since October 2023.

According to a March FAA filing, two cranes are planned to be installed at the site reaching eventual height of 887 feet above ground and 906 feet above ground.

Construction is also continuing on a second tower on the property, known as Viceroy Brickell. That building will have 420 condos in a 45-story tower.

Funny how the only rendering shown is the curvy side, while the rest are your typically jagged and undulating Arcquitecterrible.

It will be one of the coolest corners in the world: three Baccarat towers to the southwest, three Hyatt towers to the northwest, three Icon towers to the southeast and Epic and Aston Martin to the northeast. If all this were still not enough, crossed by the charming Miami River and its opening bridge.

This is a city, maybe you should move to some small town in the Appalachian mountains if you’re afraid of infrastructure.

I was in there for a dentist visit and they told me they are offering them a 3 year lease but with a 6 month demolition clause

Sounds like a reasonable deal.

3 years + sounds right. Capital Grill is supposedly moving into the waterfront restaurant under Baccarat. Also the 3 individual towers , are being built & sold in a timely wise fashion.

Let them all grow at their own pace. At least each side has some kind of new projects going on.

Are they really going to build a new viceroy? Or just move it across the street?

The Viceroy flag is no longer in Icon, that is now a W Hotel.
