Kushner Companies has applied to install two tower cranes to assist with vertical construction at 2000 Biscayne, after obtaining construction financing for the project.
According to the FAA application, the two cranes will rise 487 feet and 427 feet above sea level.
Construction and crane installation is estimated to begin on November 1, 2021, and last through the end of February 2023, the filing states.
The application was submitted to the FAA on September 16.
The permanent tower height is 36 stories, or 408 feet above ground.
Separately, Kushner obtained construction financing for $127 million from Valley National Bank, county records show. The financing was first reported by the SFBJ.
A construction permit has already been approved, with Balfour Beatty listed as the contractor.
The tower will include 393 rental apartments, 455 parking spaces, and 4,569 square feet of retail. Dorsky + Yue is the architect.
