Developers Break Ground On ‘World Class’ Luxury Apartment Tower At SoleMia

A 30-story luxury apartment tower has just broken ground in North Miami.

Oleta Partners, a joint venture between LeFrak and Turnberry, said in a press release that they had begun construction on 2400 Laguna Circle at SoLé Mia.

“We are creating a world class, luxury residential tower within the vibrant, growing community of SoLé Mia which will set a new standard for living in South Florida.” said Richard LeFrak, Chairman and CEO of LeFrak.

“The addition of 2400 Laguna Circle to the SoLé Mia community is another example of our commitment to building a world-class master-planned community with great architecture and amenities,” added Jackie Soffer, Chairman and CEO of Turnberry.

2400 Laguna Circle will include 328 rental residences ranging from one- to three-bedrooms.

Arquitectonica and Stantec are designing the tower.

Amenities at 2400 Laguna Circle will include a 75-foot swimming pool, a yoga lawn, a rooftop garden and sundeck, a dog run, a beach volleyball court, a basketball court, and a pickleball court, as well as direct access to the swimmable 7-acre Crystal Lagoon called Laguna SoLé. It’s also possible to kayak, paddleboard, or float on the lagoon.

Indoor amenities will include a coffee shop, dedicated co-working spaces with private offices and two conference rooms, a podcast recording studio, indoor and outdoor gym, a golf simulator, a playroom, a resident lounge, a dog spa, and electric car charging stations.

SoLé Mia will eventually include 5000 condos and apartments in a 186-acre master planned community, the developers said.

The Village at SoLé Mia will offer pedestrian-friendly, open-air dining, shopping and entertainment.
Restaurant concepts will include fine dining as well as new casual concepts like Sesame Bakery & Café from the owners of Motek.

In 2025, University of Miami Medical Center’s UHealth will open a 363,000 square-foot world class ambulatory medical facility at SoLé Mia.
