Lennar CEO Stuart Miller’s plan to build a new home at 11 Star Island is set for review by Miami Beach’s Board of Adjustment next month.
The proposal includes a main home surrounded by a swimmable lagoon, along with several other structures to house guests and amenities. An underground parking garage will have space for 32 cars.
In total, there will be 70,133 square feet on a 120,000 square foot lot. Half of that space will be under AC, with the remainder open space and parking.
Most of the variances needed for the home, including lot coverage, were approved by the board last month. Only a height variance remains.
Miller broke ground on a similar home at 22 Star Island in December 2015. DOMO Architecture & Design is the architect of both homes.
