The developer of the 44-story Lofty Brickell has announced a groundbreaking date after buyers quickly reserved half of the units in the proposed tower.
Groundbreaking is now scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2022, the developer said in a press release.
The project also just reached a major sales milestone, with 50% of units now reserved.
An official sales center for the project hasn’t even opened yet. Opening of Lofty’s sales gallery is scheduled for February 17.
The new sales center is being built in the same building once occupied by Brickell Flatiron’s sales gallery.
“Buyers want more than a beautiful place to live in, they’re seeking hotel-like amenities with the flexibility and mobility of a local experience, which translates to LOFTY’s initial success of being 50% reserved in just a few months,” said Alicia Cervera Jr. Managing Partner of Cervera Real Estate, which is overseeing sales.
