Mana Building A Beauty Center In Wynwood, Work To Begin Within Months

Moishe Mana and Luxury Brand Partners are preparing to begin construction on a 244,000-square-foot beauty center in Wynwood.

The nine-story project will be a hub catering to hair stylists, makeup artists, designers and others in Miami’s beauty industry. It will include retail, restaurant, bars, showrooms, office space and an auditorium, along with an 84-room hotel.

Miami’s Urban Development Review Board will review the beauty center later this month, which is being designed by Berenblum Busch Architecture. Construction is expected to begin in January.

Mana also said last month that he will soon submit plans for several other buildings on his Wynwood property, according to Miami Today. They will include:

  • Asian-Latin American Trade Center with a showroom, exhibition halls, retail, and light manufacturing. Preliminary plans call for it to be built in three phases over five to six years.
  • Mana Museum/Contemporary Art Center in partnership with an unnamed local nonprofit. An interactive museum, which would allow visitors to both watch artists work and purchase their work. Construction could begin within a year.

This is nice, I like it. Reasonable size, perfect scale for the area and I love the shape of this cookie. The Wynwood landscape is slowly changing for the better.

Fantastic! That particular west Wynwood needs this. It is not a typical tower on parking pedestal.

I’ll say what many other ‘anonymous’ posters are thinking… too big…out of scale…cookie cutter design for Wynwood.

Did you forget this area has been rezoned allowing developers to now build taller buildings?

Well it probably won’t be out of scale in the long term sense…But I understand the concern. I wonder if these developers truly respect the character and dynamic of the neighborhoods they’re building in, or if that’s just wishful thinking.

Mana owns land in a large portion of Wynnwood. He is a large contributer to what Wynnwood is today. I am pretty certain he respects Wynnwood and will play a pivotal role in its future.

Huge contributer! He bought land in Wynwood……Please name the other contributions.

Well it seems he has a hand in the food truck portion of the art walk, he has a sound stage and event center. He invested in an area before it became cool.

He only focused on Wynwood due to prices being loads cheaper than Brickell, which is where an official Asia trade center should be. It’s all about mass profit…..he could give 2 flying fucks about that place lmao

Cookie cutter? Why do say that? It ia actually international style and is very refreshing for Miami.
