Moishe Mana has secured the rights to build a project that partially uses Miami Parking Authority property, according to Miami Today.
The new project will include offices, residential units, retail, and a 150-room hotel.
Mana owns a 14,000 square foot site next to the 37,000 square foot MPA property, which includes a parking garage. Combining his property with the MPA site makes building a large project viable for Mana.
Initially the MPA has awarded the rights to a competing group called Grand Station. Now, Grand Station will sublease the rights to Mana, including the ability to use foundation and supports on the garage property. It isn’t clear what, if anything, Grand Station will build.
