Miami International Airport is still pushing for the first nonstop flight to Asia.
This week, ANA Executive Vice President Toyoyuki Nagamine visited the airport and met with officials to discuss a potential nonstop passenger flight to Tokyo.
This is the second visit from representatives of ANA this year.
ANA owns Miami-based Pan Am International Flight Academy, which they purchased in 2013 for $140 million.
