Miami Station Construction Permit Reactivated

A construction permit to build the 42-story Miami Station tower has been reactivated, shortly after it was purchased by a development group.

Miami Building Department records show the activation request was submitted on February 8.

An email address at The John Buck Company is listed as the contact. Coastal Construction is listed as the contractor.

A demolition permit for the site was already issued last year.

Chicago-based developer The John Buck Company – Florida Value Partners, and BH Group with PEBB Enterprises paid $39.5 million for the property earlier this month.

The Miami Station property is entitled for the development of 301 residential units, 244,000 square feet of office, and just over 7,000 square feet of retail.

ODP is the design architect.

Looks like the eyesore that has plagued this lot will finally be replaced!! The renders are sleek and modern – excited to see this get going asap!

Who said they were using the old design? Frankly the “Krystal” (Burger) Tower was more sleek (i.e., not a squat box).

I drive down NW 2nd avenue to go to work everyday and I’m glad to see the change in this area.

My only gripe about this project is that it’s not tall enough. Ohter than that, it’s a nice project and I hope to see it come to fruition!

Wish it was more than 300 residential units but at least it’s across the street from the brightline.

They were sold and bought. The new owner will either hold the land, move forward with the Zyscovich plan, or come up with something else. Either way you’re getting two 900 footers there.

The sites are usually located close to the river. But if 7,000 year old structural fragments from a previous society are found the same process that is taking place now at Baccarat will take place.

You’re trolling, but I explained anyway 🙂
