Miami Worldcenter Breaks Ground On “Jewelry Box” Retail Building With 78K Square Feet

Miami Worldcenter  appears to have broken ground on a multi-level retail building described as a “jewelry box” by its architect.

The new retail building is known as Miami Worldcenter Block F-East and is being built next to the under-construction CitizenM Hotel.

It will have 78,264 square feet of retail, with a total building size of 135,208 square feet.

City records show that a construction permit has already been approved and pulled by contractors.

It will include two floors of retail, along with a usable rooftop. An “iconic” rooftop structure will top the building.

Tenants have not yet been announced.

NBWW is the architect.

Considering the watered down turd buildings proposed for Worldcenter, yes. Otherwise, it just looks like the entrance to a convention center or airport terminal.

Where’s the iconic rooftop?

“Iconic rooftop structure” not “iconic rooftop”. So it will be some oversized statue or something. Sounds great to me!

I think we’re looking at it – sloped roof with y-shaped support columns in the front two rows.
Tada.

Between Brickell City Centre and Design District, it’s hard to believe that upscale brands will open here, not to mention that there’s plenty of space available at both of these locations.

Looking at the plans, there are only three residential buildings in the entire Miami Worldcenter.

There are several towers being built now nearby. Thousands of new apartments coming soon.

In the future, this is going to make one big bad a$$ club downtown that can be easily accessible by the Metromover.

MWC is starting to look amazing and they finally picked up the pace. Can’t wait for tenants to be announced.

the stores are shutting down all over and you think there is a list of tenants going in here? (aside from CVS and a Chase bank and Publix)

This is absolutely fantastic for the area, everything the area needs. Been waiting a long time for this. Love it.
