MidRiverVu Planned At River Landing With 475 New Apartments

The developer behind River Landing has filed plans for a new tower called MidRiverVu.

MidRiverVu is planned to rise 28 stories, or 303 feet above ground and 310 feet above sea level, and include:

  • 475 apartments
  • pedestrian bridge to River Landing shops and restaurants
  • 533 parking spaces in an 8-story garage

Touzet Studio is the architect.

Urban-X is the developer.

The developer told the SFBJ that the existing apartment building at River Landing is 98% occupied.

A hearing before the Urban Development Review Board was scheduled for September 20.

We should keep this area for single family since it is so close to where people want to be! Just one family here!

River Landing is amazing. This project will increase density in the area and make it more walker friendly. Most excited for this beautiful project.

The first four levels along the street, but WTH happened behind it? Looks like a shipping container with windows poked in like Swiss cheese.

What ever happened to the proposed water taxi service to this area from Downtown/Brickell? I remember reading about it more or less when River Landing was first proposed.

The magic hand of King Miami? The private entity that made the proposal evidently couldn’t make it work so no water taxi.

What a great addition to the River/Landing and Courthouse area. Density is key for revitalization, and the High Quality Architecture by Touzet Studio helps! Contextuality!

Beautiful tower, but the grey low-rise portion with irregular windows is AWFUL. Why?
